National Entrepreneur’s Day is a holiday that celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship and the contribution of entrepreneurs to society. It is observed annually on the third Tuesday in November in the United States.
The holiday was established by the National Entrepreneur Center (NEC) in Orlando, Florida in 2010. The NEC is a non-profit organization that provides resources and support to entrepreneurs, and they created National Entrepreneur’s Day to raise awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship and to recognize the hard work and dedication of entrepreneurs.
National Entrepreneur’s Day is a time to celebrate the creativity, innovation, and risk-taking that are the hallmarks of entrepreneurship. It is a day to honor the entrepreneurs who have started and grown successful businesses, as well as to encourage and inspire aspiring entrepreneurs to follow their dreams.

History National Entrepreneur’s Day
Entrepreneur’s Day was founded by a group of entrepreneurs in 2010. They were David Hauser, Siamak Taghaddos, and Amir Tehrani. Hauser and Taghaddos are the co-founders of Grasshopper which is an entrepreneurial phone system. On the other hand, Amir Tehrani is the co-founder of The Legacy Foundation.
The celebration of this day falls on Global Entrepreneurship Week and during Entrepreneurship month. This day wants to give recognition and gratitude to all the people who have become successful in becoming entrepreneurs and have initiated the creation of jobs for the employment of the citizens.
In the year 2012, US President Barack Obama declared the month of November as Entrepreneurship Month. The 6th of November that year was celebrated as Entrepreneur’s Day. People who supported this celebration tried to make the such a day an official US holiday. So they started to campaign for it and bring it through actual legislation. Fortunately for them, the corresponding resolution was approved by both Congress and the Senate. The day was formally declared to be a national celebration every third Tuesday of November each year.
