Save the Elephant Day

On  Apr 16th, people all over the world are coming together to celebrate Save The Elephant Day. This is a day dedicated to helping preserve one of the most majestic creatures on Earth – the elephant. There are many ways you can get involved and help make a difference for these animals. The goal is to raise awareness and funds for the conservation of African and Asian elephants.

Elephant populations around the world are in decline, and elephants are increasingly threatened by habitat loss, conflict with humans, and the illegal ivory trade. National Save the Elephant Day is a day to raise awareness of the plight of these majestic animals and to support efforts to protect them.

About Save the Elephant Day

First created in 2010, Save the Elephant Day is an annual event that brings attention to the plight of African elephants. African elephants are endangered due to the ivory trade, which has seen a sharp increase in demand in recent years. The day is observed by Elephant Aid International and other elephant conservation organizations, who work to raise awareness about the issues facing elephants and what can be done to help them.

History Save the Elephant Day: How You Can Help

In a world with such an incredible number of animal extinction cases, it is imperative that we take action to help restore the populations. The Elephant Reintroduction Foundation was founded in 2012 by Canadian Patricia Sims and Thai Princess Ubol Khun Oak declined her offer so she could work on this project full time without any distraction or outside distractions which lead us here today where we have seen great success thanks largely because people like William Shatner got involved!

If you’re looking for a way to help elephants on Save The Elephant Day and beyond, consider supporting one of the many organizations that focus their efforts on elephant conservation. These organizations do great work in preventing poaching, protecting habitats, and raising awareness about the plight of these creatures. You can adopt an elephant through these organizations or simply donate what you can to help keep their work going. No matter how you choose to help, every little bit counts when it comes to preserving this iconic species.
