National Hug a Plumber Day was created by the National Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) in order to raise awareness of the important role that plumbers play in our society. This day is also meant to show appreciation for all the hardworking men and women who are plumbing professionals. Many people don’t realize how much we rely on plumbers until they have a problem that needs to be fixed. Then, we are very thankful for their skills!
So, on April 25th, make sure to give your favorite plumber a big hug and let them know how much you appreciate them. And if you’re looking for a way to show your appreciation year-round, consider joining the PHCC or donating to a plumbing-related charity.
